Mecca’s newest space is hidden beneath Darlinghurst’s Oxford Street — a cave-like room inspired by Coober Pedy’s underground dugouts, with coffee roasted at Mecca’s own Alexandria roastery. After our conversation over coffee, we’ll wander toward Paddington Markets (fashion, design and jewellery, running every Saturday) and the Oxford Street vintage strip, including C’s Flashback for denim, leather and Americana. A stylish, slow-paced Saturday.

Every Wednesday from 5–9pm, AGNSW’s Art After Hours pop-up bar opens on the ground level of the Naala Nura building, serving beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks — a relaxed way to unwind while the Gallery stays open late. It’s a lovely one for an Enrich evening out: whether you’re a seasoned gallery-goer or have never set foot in an exhibition before, wandering the collection with a drink in hand and good company makes art feel easy and social rather than intimidating.
